Hello everyone! How are you? Well, I am now feeling a little excited about maxi skirt and maxi dress.
It was actually started when I followed KIVITZ blog a few months ago. But before I begin, I will tell you my feeling about this maxi skirt first.
My friends used to call me a tomboy girl since I was in high school. I loved sneakers, shorts, t-shirt, short hair, and going everywhere cycling my bike. Even when I wore my first hijab on 2003 (I was a university student majoring Journalism), some of my friends still call me a tomboy. I think I loved being a tomboy because it was very practical and support my mobility very much.
Back then, my days as a Journalism student made me needed to go to many places. Many times, I needed to go to places I'd never been and went home by night.
I used public transportations very often so it was important for me to wear easy-to-wear clothes. I needed to be seen tomboy too, because I found out that in this way, I could prevent myself from being seen by men. They saw me as a tomboy so they wouldn't give me too much attentions that I don't want them to make.
It was many years ago. But even with those thoughts of security issue, something inside of me still believe that I couldn't wear skirt only because I thought I was a tomboy and no skirts would fit me. I know it's only in my mind and it's just a mental block. But still, I thought I was too short and I looked ugly in them.
Until one day I found KIVITZ blog and follow it. I wasn't really sure at first but then I saw her posts and see how she can maintain being modest by wearing maxi skirts and look good too! :D
Somehow those posts of her blog moved me to buy my first maxi skirt. I think as a moslem woman, I still have that desire to wear clothes that cover the awrah properly.
The first time I bought a maxi skirt, my first thought was: "Will I wear it?". But I thought, "Yeah, whatever. One skirt will not hurt me, so why not?"
I think I've beaten my mental block. Now, I have two maxi skirts and two maxi dresses in my closet. Hehehe... I'm not saying that I am now gonna wear maxi skirts all the time, but I am now considering to wear them. Hopefully I can wear them more often :)
So, this is me wearing maxi dress. I'm not very confident with the result, but I think I look alright. Hahaha... :P

Cantik kok..
I had my comprehensive final exam last month, then going umroh just a few days after :D Pulang umrog langsung sibuk revisi sama persiapan buat wisuda.. Hihiihihih ~ Akhirnya wisuda :p
aku juga kak, dikampus aku kan wajib untuk mahasiswi pake rok atau maxi dress. nah sampe semester 2 aku anti banget pake maxi dress, pake rok melulu, padahal temen2 pengen lihat aku pake maxi dress. Akhrinya pas semester 3 sampe sekarang, kadang bisa pake maxi dress XD
